SKINCARE: WHAT’S IN MY TRAVEL BAG

I’m going away next week so I wanted to show you the skincare products I will be taking with me. Kiehl’s surprised me with a wash bag with some products recently and I plan to make good use of it. Clear bags like this are great if you are traveling with hand luggage as you don’t need to bother with the clear bags they give you at the airport. I tend to take the minimum when traveling unless I’m going to the beach so no masks, exfoliators or any of that nonsense. It’s usually cleanser, moisturiser, serum, SPF, deodorant and shampoo.

The Restorative Cream Cleanser by Grown Alchemist is nice and gentle and works well morning and night. Same goes for the Surface, Face Cream it’s really simple and full of nice natural ingredients. Clinique Maximum Hydrator gel isn’t technically a serum but it’s taking the place of one whilst I’m away. It contains hyaluronic acid and antioxidants and will keep me going until I pop into Deciem to pick up a new bottle of Buffet. Kiehls Ultra Light SPF 50 is brilliant as it contains a little bit of colour to cancel out the whiteness. It’s super lightweight and gives the tiniest bit of coverage which I like! Clinique Face Bronzer gives me a nice glow when I apply a tiny bit to the forehead, cheekbones and bridge of the nose. I haven’t used the Kiehl’s Olive Shampoo before but I love their coconut one so thought I would give it a go as it’s in travel size. Natural deodorants are the way forward providing you can find one that works. This one from Malin + Goetz does the job nicely and I prefer it to the spray ones as it’s less messy. Lastly I never fly without a lip balm otherwise I’m left with dry crusty lips for a week. This one by L’Occitane doesn’t contain any SPF unfortunately but get’s the job done even though it’s not my favourite.
