Nécessaire Body Wash (in Sandalwood): think of this as a multivitamin cleanser for your body, as it contains Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Omega-6, and Omega-9. The texture is phenomenal, a deeply lather-rich gel that contains gorgeous nourishing plant oils like marula (the signature of African Botanics), cacay (the signature of Costa Brazil), and meadowfoam, with plant-derived surfactants that produce the rich lather without stripping nor leaving residue. Available in crisp, unisex scents (or choose the fragrance-free option if that’s your jam) like Eucalyptus, Bergamot, and Sandalwood. We opted for Sandalwood which is sophisticated and creamy, and makes you smell like the most refined guy at Equinox.
Royal Fern Phytoactive Anti-Aging Cream: like all Royal Fern products, this cream is the epitome of German sophistication. This formula has all the makings of a dream moisture cream: its fast absorbing, perfectly textured like the most perfect yoghurt that will just melt into the skin. As a doctor brand, there’s some research to back it up as well including moisture delivery for 12 hours, counteracting pigmentation, stimulating collagen production. The smell is a crisp, verdant green, a perfect representation of the Royal Fern that feels fresh during the day, and sophisticated in the evening, and positively lifts you out of jetlag when traveling.
Byredo Bal D’Afrique: Not much more can be said about one of Byredo’s most renowned fragrances that hasn’t already been said in our in-depth product feature. This closes the routine. Your body is feeling the rush of nourishing oils and vitamins, your skin is slathered in a cream with anti-aging fern extract. This tops off the fresh, sophisticated scents by adding a final touch of complex layers to your fragrance field, with top notes of citrus, neroli, marigold, bucchu that makes way for violets and jasmine, with an amber, musk, wood and vetiver finish.
